Tuthill, Bruce, U., 62, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on March 15, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Hawksley) Tuthill.

Born in Louisville, KY, a son of Robert L. Tuthill Sr. and Lucille (Welch) Tuthill of Riverside, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Tuthill was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era, where he was a highly decorated Sergeant.

He was a member of the N.R.A., the Riverside American Legion Post #10 and enjoyed skiing, kayaking and canoeing.

Bruce was a loving father, husband and devoted his life to his family.

Besides his wife of 37 years, he is survived by a son; Corey W. Tuthill of Warwick, a daughter; Jamie W. Tuthill of San Diego, CA, a brother; Robert L. Tuthill Jr. of Riverside, two sisters; Susan Poland and her husband Dennis of North Attleboro, MA and Laurel Power and her husband David of Jensen Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 20, in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside with calling hours from 12 noon to 2 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
