Koedam, Harry, R., 93, of Riverside, died unexpectedly August 29, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Winifred A. (Toy) Koedam.

Born in Rhode Island, a son of the late Harry and Emma (Tourgee) Koedam, he lived in Riverside for 35 years.

Mr. Koedam was a mortgage lender at the former Industrial National Bank for 40 years before retiring in 1981.

Harry enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Silver Spring Golf Course, Riverside. He was a very generous man who supported local charities.

Mr. Koedam was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by two nieces; Susan C. Quattrucci and Dana L. Toy, both of Riverside.

His funeral will be held on Friday September 3, 2010 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. Calling hours are Thursday 6-8 pm.
