Gorman, Stephen, M., 59, of Lyndon Road, died unexpectedly on March 2, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Paula (DiGisi) Gorman.
Born in Providence, a son of Dorothy C. (Pasquel) Gorman of Riverside and the late Harold S. Gorman, he lived in Cranston for 25 years.
Mr. Gorman was employed by Calvino Law & Associates of Providence for the past 17 years.
Stephen was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island Class of 1973 where he was a member of the Varsity Tennis team and also a graduate of Nova University, Fort Lauderdale, FL Class of 1980. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed reading.
He is also survived by a son; Jason M. Gorman of Tampa, FL, a daughter; Shannon L. Gorman of Orlando, FL, two brothers; Harold B. Gorman of Baton Rouge, LA and Gary R. Gorman of South Kingstown, a sister; Colleen A. Derrick of East Providence, a devoted uncle to several nieces and nephews and future granddaughter; Briana Rose Gorman.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday March 5, 2011 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
