Singleton, Arthur, E., 83, of Metropolitan Park Drive, died peacefully on June 21, 2012. He was the former husband of Marilyn A. (Matullo) Singleton of Barrington.

A lifelong resident of Barrington he was the son of the late Harold and Hazel (Hodgkins) Singleton.

Mr. Singleton was an electronic engineer for the Phillips Co., Slaterville before retiring in 1994.

Arthur was an Air Force Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by a son; Arthur E. Singleton Jr. of Warwick, a daughter; Lianne Scura of Middletown and five grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside with a private burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
