Kreshchuk, Gai, S., 73, of Carousel Drive, Riverside, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 24, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Yelena (Aleksandruk) Kreshchuk.

Born in Ploska, Ukraine, he was the son of the late Stephen and Sekleta (Zyuch) Kreshchuk, he lived in Riverside since 1999.

Mr. Kreshchuk was a dentist in the Ukraine for 30 years before becoming a dental technician at the Barrington Dental Lab for the past 8 years.

Gai was a choir director at the Second Baptist Church, East Providence. He enjoyed music, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter; Neyla Miroshnichenko of Barrington, two sons; Yuriy Kreshchuk of Rumford and Anatoliy Kreshchuk of Riverside and three brothers; Boris Kreshchuk of East Providence, Lubomir Kreshchuk of Riverside and Eugine Kreshchuk of Cranston.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2012 in the Second Baptist Church, Taunton Avenue, East Providence at 7 pm. Arrangements are by the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, Riverside.
