Armstrong, Claire, M., 88, of Elson Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on August 24, 2012. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Armstrong.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mulledy) Dame, she lived in Riverside for 55 years.

Mrs. Armstrong was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed music, cooking and spending time with her family at home.

She is survived by two sons; Thomas E. Armstrong and his wife Linda of Riverside and Paul F. Armstrong of Davidson, NC, a daughter; Marcia A. Armstrong of Riverside, two brothers; William E. Dame of Cranston and Raymond P. Dame of Swansea, MA, a sister; Sr. Mary Francelle RSM of Cumberland and a grandson; David T. Armstrong of Riverside. She was the twin sister of the late Kathleen Moran and sister of the late Francis, Thomas and John Dame.

Her funeral will be held on Monday August 27, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
