McGinn, Francis, D., Jr., 79, formerly of Buckingham Street, died peacefully on September 12, 2014. He was the husband of Constance (Faucher) McGinn and the late Eileen (O’Grady) McGinn.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Francis D. McGinn Sr. and Elizabeth (Kelley) McGinn, he lived in Barrington for 35 years and also resided in Newport and Boynton Beach, FL.

Mr. McGinn was the President of F.D. McGinn Inc. before retiring in 1999.

Frank was a communicant of St. Luke Church. He was a former member of the Rhode Island Country Club, the Squantum Club, the Quail Ridge Country Club, the Rhode Island Builder’s Association and the N.E. Lumberman’s Association. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and photography.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Frank D. McGinn III and his husband Thomas R. Siefert of Bryan, TX; two daughters, Mae M. Kurkoski and her husband Mark of Barrington and Patti M. Mitchell and her husband Rod of Barrington; three brothers, Peter J. McGinn and his wife Virginia of Warwick, Joseph H. McGinn and his wife Judith of Narragansett and Thomas McGinn and his wife Victoria of Quincy, MA; a sister, Mary E. McGinn and her partner Thomas McCarthy of Narragansett; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and three step-children, William, Joy and Julie Milani.

His funeral will be held on Friday September 19, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery.
