Richard, Mary, E., 85, formerly of Homestead Avenue, died peacefully on April 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the former wife of the late Henry L. Richard.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Herbert A. and Helen (Trainor) Woodcock, she lived in Barrington for 35 years, New River Road, Manville for 10 years and Bristol.
Mrs. Richard was a communicant of St. Luke Church where she was a member of the choir and volunteered at the holiday bazars. She also was a communicant of St. Ambrose’s Church. She was a member of the Cumberland Quilt Guild Club, the Barrington Garden Club, East Bay Choir and the East Bay Theatre group, where she was a costume designer for many performances held at Roger Williams University.
She is survived by her children, Henry Richard Jr. and his wife Debra of Lincoln, Gregory Richard and his wife Deborah of Lincoln, Linda Richard Berard and her husband Norman of South Carolina, MaryLou Richard Donlon and George Sawtelle of Blackstone, MA, Laura Richard Bullard and Richard Rocheleau of Albion, Sheila Richard Migliaccio and her husband Joseph of Cumberland, Kathryn A. Richard of Manville, Paul Richard and his wife Sandra of Lincoln and Jacqueline Buser and her husband Joseph of Patterson, NY; a brother, Herbert Woodcock Jr. and his wife Jeanie of Greenland, NH; 20 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
