Ann M. Murphy

Murphy, Ann M., 61, of Grassy Plain Road, Riverside, died peacefully on July 11, 2017.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Vivianne A. (Rego) Murphy of West Warwick and the late Donald G. Murphy, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Mrs. Murphy was an administrative assistant in the Registrar’s Office at Brown University, Providence, for 20 years before retiring in 2009.
Ann was a member of the Rhode Island Parkinson’s Association. She enjoyed photography and spending time with her loving family.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Tracy A. Olson of Riverside; a son, Brian M. Leddy of Riverside; five grandchildren, Nathan and Emma Olson, Nicole Casey, Amelia and Aidan Leddy; her brothers and sisters, Michael Murphy of Westerly, Carleen Massed of Portsmouth, Sharon Tagliaferri of Johnston, Donald Murphy of Warren, Dennis Murphy of Riverside, Kelly Duffy of West Warwick, Matthew Murphy of West Warwick, Daniel Murphy of Bristol and Peter Murphy of Johnston; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday July 15, 2017 from the W.RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, in Riverside at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 p.m.
