Smith, Elizabeth B., “Betty” 87, of Hospital Road, Riverside, died peacefully on December 29, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Smith Sr.
Born in Bennington, VT., a daughter of the late Carl and Catherine A. (Murphy) Green, she lived in Riverside for 64 years.
Mrs. Smith was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the Daughters’ of Isabella.
She is survived by a son, Edward S. Smith Jr. and his wife Pat of Deltona, Fla.; a daughter, Dawn E. Ottone and her husband Mike of Riverside; four grandchildren and five great- grandchild. She was the sister of the late Cecilia Nepini, Patricia Falke, Eleanor Green, Bernard Green, Richard Green and Carl Green Jr.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday January 2, 2020 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
