Silva, Pauline E., (Gaynor), 72, of Riverside House, Willett Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on February 16, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Silva Sr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harold and Viola C. (Ingraham) Gaynor, she lived in East Providence for 20 years and also in Seekonk, MA.
Mrs. Silva was a member of the Red Hatters Club. She enjoyed cooking, singing karaoke with her friends and spending time with her loving grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Janene M. Heaney and her husband Paul of Seekonk, MA, Leonard Silva Jr. and his wife Susanne of Seekonk, MA, Melissa L. Bienvenue and her husband Peter of North Smithfield and Michael A. Silva of Seekonk, MA; a sister, Sheila Reposa and her husband Ronald of Riverside and seven grandchildren, Kyle P. Heaney, Sean M. Heaney, Matthew N. Heaney, Jacob L. Silva, Joshua W. Silva, Aidan T. Bienvenue and Shayleigh M. Bienvenue.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2020 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, at 8:45 a.m. with a Funeral Service in the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, 135 New Meadow Road, Swansea, MA at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Contributions in Pauline’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA, 02215 would be deeply appreciated.
Polly will be greatly missed. She was an extraordinarily kind person. I am sending my deepest and sincere sympathy to all her family and friends. Rest in peace Polly

We are all heartbroken in loosing a treasured Mom, Grandma, Auntie and dear Friend to many of us. Mrs. Silva/Polly you will be missed by many of us who treasured your kindness and friendship throughout these years. You put up one hell of fight to this ugly cancer. Now, time for you to rest.
