  6. Dear Fred, Darlene & Dennis — I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your little brother was a dearly loved friend of mine ever since early childhood…I will always remember him as my brother. So many years of memories, so many great times with him and you all. Keith was a one-of-a-kind guy, and I think it was perhaps his sick sense of humor that I loved most about him…I always called him the Master Prankster. We had some many things we loved in common — music, concerts movies, sports, card collecting, comics, video games…I can still see us all riding our bikes around the neighborhood and playing basketball, football and street hockey at Grassy Plain Park. I am despaired that we drifted apart over recent years, especially now knowing his end of life battle he waged so heroically. I will always hold my memories of Keith close to my heart. I wish you all my prayers, condolences and love. RIP dear Keith…

  10. Darlene, Dennis, Fred and Lexi. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Keith. He truly was like a brother to me, knowing him from such a young age. 11. Darlene, Fred, Dennis, Lexie… I am very sorry to learn of Keith’s passing. It was long and hard fought battle. I never had the pleasure of meeting Keith. My familiarity was from listening to the stories told by Darlene. His kindness, resilience, and determination. His love for Lexie. I was always so impressed to listen to stories of how Kieth, despite all of the up’s and down’s, never complained. To be sure he was at the Hospital on time, he would arrive hours early. Despite the 75 minute trip to Boston, he never complained. Adapting to a prosthetic, again, he never complained. How one battle was fought only to be challenged by another. But what was always so evident throughout every story was the devotion, love and caring shown by Keith’s family. Despite working fulltime, Fred, Dennis and Darlene drove to Boston countless times. The hundreds of phone calls Darlene made to coordinate Keith’s care. Driving from South County after work to bring Keith a slice of chocolate cake from Greg’s. Dropping off his favorite home made meal. Searching for his favorite magazine. It was such a demonstration of how a family comes together to provide for another. You are all remarkable and I am most certain Keith was so appreciative of all of your love.

  12. Darlene,My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family….May Keith RIP
