Dear Bambi and Family,
When I moved from New Jersey to Barrington in 2011, you and Ray were one of the first people I met at 7:00 am Mass at St. Luke’s. How kind you were to welcome me and what wonderful role models you both were for all of us at church. Ray’s love for God and you and his sons is an inspiration for us all. My your cherished memories of Ray sustain you at this difficult time.
My sincere sympathy to all members of the Simone family. I fondly remember Ray and Bambi’s start here in Barrington. Through all these years, Ray served admirably as a stellar citizen. You should all be very thankful and proud of Ray. May he Rest In a well earned Peace. John J. Fitta

I will miss Ray who was two classes behind me at Wesleyan University. My condolences to Bambi and his 3 sons
Dear Bambi and Family. Ray was always the “voice” of the Church. I will continue to hear his voice lectoring and especially filling in at special Masses like the November Mass of Remembrance or funerals. Ray was the “hands” of the Church, flipping hot dogs at cookouts, making lunches for the Young at Heart events, and always saying Yes when asked to help out. Ray was the “spirit” of the church” with his faithfulness to daily Mass, his reverence for the Eucharist and his quiet charity. He of course remains the “love” of your lives, but I will also miss him greatly. May he now rest in glory and watch over you as he always has. Sincere condolences
May God console you in your loss Bambi
