Szala, Hilda, 77, of Jefferson Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on June 29, 2023. She was the wife of the late Kevin Szala.
Born in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Cleve and Nannie Mae Cash, she lived in Riverside for 42 years.
A Homemaker, Hilda enjoyed spending time with her loving family and caring for her cats.
She is survived by her domestic partner, David Bettencourt of Riverside, a daughter, Joyce Peck of Wilmington, NC; three step-children, Sherry Szala and Margaret Szala and Joseph Szala; six grandchildren, Arnold Butler, Mitchell Medeiros, Jamee Peck, Kyhala Szala, Joseph Szala and Heather Mollozi.
Her Services will be private.
To my mother in heaven, thank you for always loving me and guiding me. Even though you are no longer here with me I can still feel your love guiding me. You are always in my heart. I love you and miss you dearly.
