Corvelo, Rose M. (Docouto), 97, of Brook Avenue, Riverside, formerly of Bristol, died peacefully on March 24, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Corvelo.
Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Ventura) Docouto, she lived in Riverside since 1966.
Mrs. Corvelo was a bench jeweler for several jewelry manufacturing companies for many years.
Rose enjoyed reading, search word and attending the St. Elizabeth Adult Day Center in Bristol.
She is survived by three daughters, Claudia Mederios and her companion Michael Foeri, with whom she lived with for the last 18 years of Riverside, Lynda Yeitz of Cranston and Sandra Almeida of Fall River, MA; three grandchildren Master Sargent Derek Gagnon USAF, Trisha Gagnon and Michael Loiselle; four great grandchildren, two sisters, Mary “Connie” Benefield of Dothan, AL and Barbara Botelho-Docouto of Banning, CA and several nieces and nephews. She was the late mother-in-law of the late Lucien Medeiros.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
Calling Hours are Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. I’m so sorry for your loss, Claudia. I remember the day your mom gave me the black purse, I still have it. I didn’t know your mom to well but, the times I did she seemed very nice.
