John W. Wong, 81, of Goldsmith Avenue, East Providence died peacefully on August 25, 2024 at the Steere House, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Glora (Leung) Wong.
Born in Toisan, China, a son of the late Bing Yee Wong and Fung Sui Lau, he lived in East Providence for 47 years.
Mr. Wong was the Owner & Operator of the Rickshaw Inn Restaurant, Riverside for 30 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Yanyan Beach of Cheshire, CT; two sons, Andy Wong of Cranston and Henry Wong of Philipsburg, PA; a stepdaughter, Mary Lyon of Wallingford, CT and six grandchildren.
His funeral services will be private.
