Judith A. (Olson) L’Heureux, 80, of Briarbrook Drive, Seekonk, MA, died peacefully on September 5, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Eugene B. L’Heureux, Sr.

Born in Riverside, a daughter of the late Wallace and Mildred (Coleman) Olson. Judith was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Academy in Providence, RI. She lived in Seekonk, MA for 53 years.

Judith worked in the food service industry for over 30 years prior to retirement. During her retirement, she enjoyed reading, gardening, arts & crafts and watching her beloved Boston Bruins. However, she was happiest when spending time with family, in particular her loving grandchildren. She was a former volunteer at the Martin Elementary School, Seekonk, MA.

Besides her husband of 60 years, she is survived by two sons, Eugene B. L’Heureux Jr. and his wife Joanna of Seekonk, MA, Kevin D. L’Heureux and his wife Kristen of Seekonk, MA, a daughter, Debra J. Lambert and her husband Brad of Seekonk, MA; four grandchildren, Eugene III, Katerina, Casey and Sara and a brother, Wallace Olson Jr. of East Providence. She was the sister of the late Shirley O’Mara and Edward Olson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Friday September 13, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Ave, Riverside from 4-7 p.m. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held followed by a private burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Judith’s memory to the Seekonk Public Library, 410 Newman Avenue, Seekonk, MA, 02771 would be deeply appreciated.

  1. So sorry to hear of Aunt Judy’s passing. We always enjoyed the family visits to Vermont and watching her raise 3 great kids to adulthood. Our prayers are with the L’Heureux family

  2. So sorry for your loss. Judy was always a favorite sister in law ..we did many things together ‘, Judy and Gene were always there for me when my husband Jack died. And again 35 years later when husband Bill died . Judy will always be in my prayers .

  5. Gene so sorry for your loss. I miss my parents everyday and I’m so glad I was able to took care of them. Your mom is watching over you now.
