Anne W. (Withington) Kesner, 68, of Carousel Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on October 1, 2024 at the Orchard View Manor Nursing Home East Providence. She was the loving companion of James Rayner for 23 years.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George E. Withington III and Jean (Haywood) Withington, she was a resident of Riverside most of her life.

Ms. Kesner was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1974. She worked as a nursing assistant for many years.

Anne enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles and her loyal pet turtle.

She is survived by a sister, Marilyn W. Fernandes of Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sally B. Withington, Judith Carlson and Leslie W. Ferland.

A private burial will be held in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
