Charles E. Lewis Jr., 77, of Newman Avenue, Rumford Towers, Rumford, died unexpectedly December 19, 2024 at home.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles E. Lewis Sr. and Lorretta (Amaral) Lewis, he lived in Rumford for 18 years.
Charles was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School Class of 1965 and received his bachelorās degree from UMASS Amherst Class of 1969.
Mr. Lewis was a chemist for the City of Taunton Water Department for 25 years before retiring in 2003.
Charles enjoyed computer gaming, golfing and was a member of BAGS, Boston Amateur Golfing Society.
He is survived by a brother, Stephen F. Lewis of Fall River, MA. He was the brother of the late Marilyn McDermott and uncle of the late Joshua Lewis.
His Funeral will be private.
