Adeline F. “Addie” Calitri, 91, of Barrington passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Freddy Calitri.
Addie was born in Great Falls, Montana, a daughter of the late Fiorino and Lillian (Tabaracci) Evangelisti. She lived in Barrington for more than 40 years.
Addie was employed by the Selective Service and volunteered at the U.S.O. It was there that she met Freddy in 1953 while he was in the U.S.A.F. and stationed in Great Falls. They married in 1954 and lived in several places including Germany, Peru, California, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida while he served in the U.S.A.F for 20 years.
During this time, Addie went on to hold many administrative positions in the U.S. Government including F.B.I., Army Intelligence, CIA, Depts. of the Navy and Air Force until her retirement in 1971.
Addie enjoyed reading, a good cup of tea, everything Italian, and tending her beautiful gardens but her greatest joy was spending time with her two grandsons.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Floderus and her husband Peter of Barrington and was the loving “Nonni” of Kristofer and Nicholas. She was the sister of the late Angelina Bozik of Great Falls, MT.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Holy Angel’s Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

Dear Vanessa, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful person and one of my best St. Luke’s School parents. She always had a smile and cheerful greeting whenever I saw her. She loved you dearly. Please know that she, you and your family are in my prayers. God Bless!
Vanessa, My sincere condolences to you and your family. Know this is a great loss to you and your family however she will be missed by all that knew her – a great. caring and loving lady.
