Alexander F. McPherson

Alexander F. McPherson, 60, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on June 19, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Benfeito) McPherson.
Born in Providence, a son of William and Carolyn (Canning) McPherson of Riverside, he lived in Riverside for 30 years.
Mr. McPherson was a Call Center Representative at Bank of America for 5 years before retiring in 2010 due to illness.
Alexander was a member of the Riverside Congregational Church and the Rhode Island Muzzle Loaders Club.
Alexander enjoyed woodworking, hand radios, trains and visiting the Steam Town National Historic Site in Scranton, PA.
Besides his wife of 35 years and his parents, he is survived by a son, Alexander F. McPherson II and his wife Kaden of Fall River, MA; two brothers, Gus McPherson of North Carolina and Andrew McPherson of Washington and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Alexander’s Funeral Service in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 3 p.m.

Oh cousin! I was just thinking about you when I visited a theme park type place and they had the smashed pennies. I used to buy them and send them to you….rest easy, Skip. You will be missed by many. Love to the whole family.
Skip was a nephew by marriage to Judy and friend. We used to talk a lot about computers when he was younger. I know he will be missed by Judy and a lot of others.
