Dwyer, Ana M. (Amaral), 72, of Kispert Court, Swansea, MA, died peacefully away on December 28, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was the beloved wife of John F. Dwyer.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Olivia (Martins) Amaral, she lived in Swansea for 46 years.
Mrs. Dwyer was a clerk at Macy’s Department Store, Swansea, MA, for 19 years before retiring in 2018. She previously worked at Davol MFG. for 29 years.
Ana was a communicant of St. Dominic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, attending to her fish pond and spending time with her loving family.
Besides her husband of forty-eight years, she is survived by a son, Raymond J. Dwyer of Warren, two grandsons, Corbin and Cash Dwyer; a brother, Joao Amaral of Seekonk, MA; a sister, Fernanda Medeiros of East Providence and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday January 3, 2023 in St. Dominic Church, 1277 Grand Army Highway, Swansea, MA at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Ana’s memory to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.

John, it is with profound sorrow that I learned of Ana’s passing, and my deepest condolences to you, your son and extended family. Ana Maria was a beautiful, kind and a friendly lady whom I had the pleasure of knowing her. She always had a lovely smile on her face. May her soul rest in peace and may her memory be eternal.
