Andrade, Arnold A., 89, formerly of Pinecrest Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on January 28, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Adrith (Cioe) Andrade.
Born in Providence, a son of the late August and Emily (Motta) Andrade, he lived in Riverside for 66 years.
Mr. Andrade was an autobody technician for 40 years before retiring in 1990.
Arnold was a communicant of St. Brendan Church for 63 years and was also a member of the Holy Ghost Brotherhood Society. He enjoyed boating, flying and classical cars.
Besides his wife of 69 years, he is survived by three children, Deborah Aubin of Wesley Chapel, Fl, Doreen Andrade and her wife Patricia of Boca Raton, FL and Kenneth A. Andrade and his wife Leslie of Bristol; six grandchildren, Michelle, Kristin, Kenneth, Matthew, Sarah and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Dalton; a sister, Marie Penn of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lillian Peterson.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday February 2, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 8:30-10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Arnold’s memory to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice of Portsmouth, 438 E. Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105-89959 would be deeply appreciated.

Karen and I are so sorry to hear of Arnolds passing. We meet with both Arnold and Adrith at the park near the carousel for a few concerts. We would talk of the old days on the boat and share some funny stories of my father and Arnold. He was one of the nicest persons I ever meet and always good for a laugh. Mark and I are so sorry to hear of Arnold’s passing. We have many fond memories of Trojan Row on C Dock at Lavins Marina. Arnold and my Dad were such jokesters and I’m sure they are together joking with everyone. My Mom will be telling them to knock it off.
