Ryan, Barbara, A., (O’Neil), 94, of Lake Avenue, (Bay Springs), died peacefully on July 18, 2015. She was the wife of the late William F. Ryan.

A lifelong resident of Bay Springs, Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Dennis J. and Edith L. (Adams) O’Neil.

Mrs. Ryan was a teacher for the Warren and Barrington School Departments for 20 years before retiring in 1980.

Barbara was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of the parish Young at Heart Club. She also was a member of the Barrington Bogeys, Barrington Garden Club and the Barrington Quilting Club. She enjoyed golfing and bowling.

She is survived by two sons, William O’Neil Ryan of East Hanover, NJ and John D. ‘Jack’ Ryan of Barrington; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Timothy P. Ryan and sister of the late Bernice Wayland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, East Providence.
