BJ was one of the most important people in my mother’s life. She cared for in her later years showing kindness and love. I will always be so thankful for her thoughtfulness, patience and understanding. She will always be remembered.
I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
You were the greatest teacher of the 90’s era. During that time, you showed us a view on life through a lens of wonder. Stepping into your classroom was a sanctuary of possibilities. We were seen; you talked with us. You emphasized aligning our principles with our careers, leading that one area of our lives will impact another. While reflecting back to that time we were part of your interconnection and we were certainly blessed to have you.
Condolences to a wonderful lady and true Townie
from Beverley and Richard Ferreira and the entire Ferreira family.
You were an amazing grandmother. My hand will not leave my rosary for a while for you. Thank you for all you did for me and all you’ve done for so many others

My deepest sympathy to BJ’s family. I did not know BJ professionally but came to know her in retirement. She was so warm, friendly and kind. I will miss her.
My sincere condolences to BJ’s family. She was a fantastic person I had the privilege of working with at the EPCTC.
On behalf of the East Bay Retired Teachers Association I’d like to extend our condolences to BJ’s family and friends .Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
Mrs. Geraghty was my Office Training teacher in 10th grade back in 84-85 and she was a sweetheart. I learned a great deal from her. Even though I chose not to stay in the OT program, what I learned stayed with me all these years. And yes, I still place two spaces after a period, lol. May she fly on angel wings. She will be missed by many.
To BJ’s family: It is with heartfelt sorrow and sympathy that I reach out to all of you on the unexpected passing of such a wonderful colleague and dear friend. Upon BJ’s retirement, I was blessed to work with her as a mentor as I took over the OT Program at the CTC. The program that she so diligently worked on for 30 years was able to continue on for another 13+ years, and I was so proud to help represent what she so professionally conducted in her tenure. BJ was also a very dear and compassionate friend to me, and her sense of humor and kindness was something I will always be grateful for. I wish you all peace and comfort during this difficult time, and my prayers and thoughts will remain with you for many years ahead. I am going to miss her very much.
I WORK FOR THE COMMUNITY & TEACHERS CU, SHE WOULD COME IN AND ALWAYS SAY HI GIRLS. IT WAS ALWAYS GREAT TO SEE HER AND HER SMILES AND FRIENDLY GREETINGS. MAY GOD BLESS HER. MY CONDOLECNES TO HER FAMILY.
My sincere sympathy to the family of BJ. I also worked with BJ at the EPCTC and she was so helpful to me when I went to work there. She had the respect and friendship of all who knew her. She will be missed by all. Love and prayers to her family.
