Charles R. Bannon Jr., 70, of Carousel Drive, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on March 25, 2025. He was the former husband of Suzzane M. (LaSalle) Bannon.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles R. Bannon Sr. and Hazel (Elderkin) Bannon, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Bannon was a maintenance worker at Crossroads Rhode Island for 6 years before retiring in 2015. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Charles was a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed music, fishing, motorcycles, vintage cars and gun shooting.

Besides his former wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jessica Trembly of Cranston and Kayla Bannon of East Providence; a son, Trevor Bannon of Hope Valley and five granddaughters. He was the brother of the late Katherine Hayes.

A Memorial Service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on a date and time to be announced.
