Cristiano Costa, 86, of Brookhaven Drive, East Providence, died peacefully on Friday November 8, 2024 at the Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Health Center, East Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Silvana (Narciso) Costa.

Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria DosAnjos Costa, he lived in East Providence for 50 years.

Mr. Costa was a supervisor for the former Plastic Development Mfg. for over 45 years before retiring in 2004.

Cristiano was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Providence. He enjoyed gardening and making wine.

Besides his wife of 59 years, he is survived by two sons, Cristiano Costa Jr. of East Providence and Stephen Costa of East Providence; three grandchildren, Mason Costa, Kendrick Costa and Olivia George; four sisters, Dourtiana Souza of Providence, Lucia Couto of East Providence, Olinda Ferreira of East Providence and Dolores Couto of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Sylvester Costa, Rachel Reposa, Antonio Costa, Isaura Medeiros and Maria Silva.

His Funeral will be held on Thursday November 14, 2024 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence at 10 a.m.
