David S. Fournier

Fournier, David S., 59, of Elizabeth Street, Riverside, died peacefully on November 3, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Robert and Winifred (McAdam) Fournier, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
David was a graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1980.
Mr. Fournier was the Owner & Operator of the Bay Side Painting Company for over 20 years.
David enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to Nils Lofgren and his outdoor koi pond. He was a devoted Oakland Raiders and Boston Red Sox fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Kassidy Nicole Fournier of Riverside; a sister, Donna J. Meehan of Rumford; three nephews, Paul A. Fournier Jr. of Riverside, Joseph Pereira of East Providence and Shawn Meehan of Rumford; a niece, Rebecca Pereira of Rumford; a great niece, Amelia; a great nephew, Joseph Jr and his devoted cat, Smedley. He was the great uncle of the late Adaline Pereira.
His funeral service will be held on Monday evening November 7, 2022 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7 p.m. Calling hours are 4-7 p.m.
Dave was a good man, I grew up & went through school with him…God Bless
