Date of Passing:
David S. Towne, 62, of Warwick, died unexpectedly on August 5, 2024.
Known affectionately as Biscuit, he lived in Riverside for 50 years.
David was the son of the late Robert and R. Lenore Towne. He is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Orterry and husband Kevin of Lake City, Florida, and Nicole Towne of East Providence, a beautiful granddaughter, Hayden Orterry, and his former wife and forever trusted friend Dianne Lyman of East Providence.

David had many friends in his community.
A graduate of East Providence High School (Class of ‘79) and veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was an accomplished neon tube bender for more than 25 years.
David loved working with his hands. He could often be found tinkering with clocks and other gadgets, hand-crafting jewelry, and tending to his cactus collection.
He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed Boston sports, auto racing, camping, cooking, and music, especially.
His Services will be private.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Robin was a dear friend of mine. And I knew she was the only girl with a household of brothers.
May this promise bring you comfort as it is intended to:
Acts 24:15 – And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
