Corrado, Denise A., 59, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on January 10, 2024 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Corrado.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Milton R. and Shandra (D’Ascoli) Savard, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.
Denise was a graduate of the East Providence High School Class of 1982.
Mrs. Corrado worked as a clerk at Shaw’s Market in Barrington and Portsmouth for 20 years.
She enjoyed watching soap operas, shopping, babysitting, and spending time with her loving family.
Besides her husband of 31 years, she is survived by her children, Melissa A. Poole and her husband Jared of Johnston, Keith A. Corrado and his wife Crystal of Cumberland and Alicia S. Rodriguez and her husband Jose of Warwick; a sister, Michelle M. Savard and her husband Michael of Riverside; a brother, Scott M. Savard of Riverside and a half-brother, Shane Gervais of Johnston and seven grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Sunday January 14, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 3 p.m.
Calling Hours are Sunday 1-3 p.m.
I am so heart broken to hear of this. Denise and I were as close as sisters for many years. Life got away with us but that didn’t mean we didn’t live one another. Denise will forever be my Denisey ❤️ my heart breaks for her family.

Denise was a student of mine at East Providence High School, she was a lovely, bright young woman who was just so special to have in class. i was fortunate to keep in touch and to see Denise often in Shaw’s. May God Bless Denise and comfort her fsmily. My deepest sympathy.

I am heartbroken for your loss. Remembering Denise when she was a little girl we would visit, and I always had to take my shoes off so she could wear them size five she thought she was a big girl wearing them. Our hearts are aching for you all. Now together in her mother and father’s arms. May she RIP.

This is heartbreaking news. I had the pleasure of working with Denise at Shaw’s in Barrington. I always enjoyed our little chats about her grandkids and how excited she was when her daughter was pregnant. You could tell she loved being a Grandma. She left us way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Denise. ❤️
