Dan was a friend and colleague at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for many years. His warmth, wit, and compassion were a model for physicians to emulate. My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with Dan and Maureen in Bermuda about 15 years ago. The whole evening was filled with laughter and fun. I will always cherish his friendship.
Dr. Brown was my first Medical Director out of nursing school. He was always willing to teach me new things. He also took care of my husband as a patient. He was an amazingly compassionate and caring physician. He was known to my friend and I as the “boy” because he was so young and we were known to him as Batman and Robin. He touched so many lives. Rest easy Dr. Brown. I will never forget the kreb cycle 🙏🏻
Since freshman year of college Dan has been one of my best friends. We’ve raised our families together, trips with Dave, Doug, and Steve, countless New Years celebrations with our families, golf trips and tournaments. He was an awesome guy. He will be missed by many. Gone way too soon. Rest east my friend.
Dr Brown was there for my husband and myself. He was always so kind and a great doctor. If you had a question he was so ready to answer it. Since he left the office we thought about him often, wondering how he was doing. We miss him.
Dan was a friend in school and always the kindest at a time when children can tend not to be. My prayers are with his loving family .

I am devistated to hear this sad news. My cousin was always there for anyone in need. He helped my children at a young age. Me heart goes out to the rest of the family
I am so sorry to learn of Dan’s passing. I remember him when he and Maureen were dating and Karen and I were just bratty teens. They seemed very much in love then and were so fortunate to share an enduring love. My thoughts are with you all.
I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. Dan. Dan was a wonderful person , and I remember liking him immediately the first time I met him at his wedding to my cousin Maureen. They were a perfect match, and I loved seeing how happy they were together over the years. One thing that particularly struck me upon first meeting Dan was his kind and gentle nature, and I knew that he must be a wonderful doctor to everyone who was fortunate enough to be a patient of his. I was lucky to have gotten to visit with Dan and his family a few more times over the course of my junior and high school years, but I unfortunately haven’t able to see them since, and I am now 39. I wish I could go back and change that, especially not knowing that something like this would hit Dan so early on in his life. He is truly gone too soon. Praying for strength, peace and comfort for all his family and friends.
With love,
Dara
