Toste, George, F., Sr., 84, of Leslie Avenue, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Madeline (Coelho) Toste.

Born in Bristol, a son of the late Joseph F. and Virginia (Silvia) Toste, he lived in Barrington for 45 years.

Mr. Toste was a communicant of St. Luke Church.

Besides his wife of 56 years, he is survived by a son, George F. Toste Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Harrisville; two daughters, Madeline Toste of Swansea, MA and Patricia A. Fraettarelli and her husband David of Pawtucket; three grandchildren, Kerri L. Toste, Kyle G. Toste and Nicholas D. Fraettarelli; two sisters, Sarah Amaral of Bristol and Virginia Chauvin of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Theodore, John, Guiomar, Lucinda and Helen.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday January 6, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol. Calling hours are Monday 4-8 p.m.
