I just learned of Jim’s passing, and I’m so, so sorry for your loss. Jim was a very caring man whom I’ve known most of my life. I was an insecure kid when I started visiting Riverside Grille over 40 years ago. Jim listened to me and encouraged me through high school, college and beyond. Jim was in some ways like a surrogate Dad, and I’ll always love him for that. In later years, I ran into Jim and Lois around town, and occasionally visited to catch up on life’s happenings. Somehow, we always think there’s more time… I’m sad to know there is not. My deepest condolences especially to Lois. Jim’s love for you is eternal. My condolences also to Jim’s family in this time of grief.
I just learned today of Jimmy’s passing. I met him, and played many rounds with Jimmy, at Silver Spring Golf Course. He was always very friendly and supportive. We became good friends in the ensuing years. I will miss my friend Jimmy. Please accept my heart felt condolences.
My condolences. I just learned today of Jimmy’s passing. I first met Jimmy at Sparky’s about 15 yrs ago. We had been friendly since. He was such a great guy and a sweet soul. Don’t under estimate him though… he was a tough cookie. When we talked about relationships, he would always tell me about his “honey” (his wife). He was truly a genuine guy and will be seriously missed! God bless Jimmy and your family! God has another great angel up there!
My condolences to you and your family in this time of need. Jimmy was a crossing guard right across the street from my house for a very long time! Myself, husband Chris and my children Lacey and Charlotte will miss him dearly. He became a friend to us over the years. He was truly a special person and I am so glad that I was able to know him. I will always remember the kindness he always had towards others. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prays are with you all.
Jimmy was a Riverside staple, RIP & condolences to the family
I wish I had more words to say but I do not. My grandfather was a sweet man, I just wish I got to know him a bit closer or got to see him before this all happened. Either way, I am sure I’ll get to say what I needed eventually. Rest In Peace Grandpa, I love you❤️
My condolences to the family. Jim was one of the first guys I meet when I started golfing. Made me feel right at home. We all miss you at the course.
