Healey, James P., “Jim,” 68, of Sachem Road, Bristol, died peacefully on June 20, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Victoria A. Catalano-Healey.
Born in Providence, a son of the late B. James and Barbara C. (Costello) Healey, he lived in Bristol for the past 23 years previously residing in East Providence.
Mr. Healey was a truck driver for the Teamsters Local #251 for over 40 years before retiring in 2013.
James was a graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1969.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Gregory J. Healey and his wife Kristin of Warwick; a daughter, Shannon E. Healey of Warwick; two grandchildren, Cameron Healey and Sarah Healey, both of Warwick and several brothers and sisters.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2020 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 3 p.m. Calling hours are Tuesday 12 noon to 3 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Jim’s memory to Hope Hospice & Pallative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
Victoria, I am so sorry for your loss, Jimmy is going to be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was practically a member of our family in his younger days,
to me and my family he was a bundel of smiles and laughter.I never knew his children , my deepest condelences to them also.
