Borgia, Jerry, A., 91, of Middle Highway, died peacefully on June 15, 2013. He was the husband of the late Rose (DiBari) Borgia.

Born Bristol, a son of the late Francesco and Guiseppina (Ruggieri) Borgia, he lived in Barrington for 44 years previously residing in Bristol.

Mr. Borgia was a machine operator for the former Kaiser Aluminum Co., Bristol. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Jerry was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. He was a life member of the Barrington American Legion Post #8.

He is survived by a son; Joseph A. Borgia of Cranston, a daughter; LouAnn of Chepachet, two brothers; Matthew Borgia of Bristol and Carlo Borgia of FL, a sister; Anna Vollaro of Warren, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his faithful dog Rocky. He was the brother of the late Antonetta Bergantino, Joseph and Andrew Borgia.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 pm.
