John E. Medeiros, 96, formerly of Maple Avenue, Barrington, died peacefully on December 15, 2024 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. He was the husband of the late Mary C. (Paiva) Medeiros.

Born in Barrington, a son of the late John F. and Talinda (Giorge) Medeiros, he lived in Barrington for 80 years.

Mr. Medeiros was the Owner & Operator of B&J Electric for 35 years before retiring in 1998.

John was a communicant of Holy Angels Church.

Mr. Medeiros was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by a son, John E. Medeiros Jr. and his wife Beth of Pequot, MN; a daughter, Maryanne Constantineau and her husband William of North Attleboro, MA and five grandchildren. He was the father of the late Paul L. Medeiros and brother of the late Dolores Carmody, Manuel and Lawrence Medeiros.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington followed by a private burial in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
