John P. Murray, 86, of East Providence, died peacefully on January 17, 2025 at the Elmhurst Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Ellen E. (Silva) Murray.

Born in Providence, a son of the late John Murray, he lived in East Providence for many years.

Mr. Murray was a security guard at Roger Williams Hospital for many years.

A sports enthusiast, John was a former youth basketball coach.

His Funeral Service will be private.
