Leonard, Lillian, N., 70, of Aberdeen Road, died peacefully on September 17, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Edward G. Leonard.

Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Harry W. and Lillian A. (Hogan) Payne, she lived in Riverside for 46 years.

Mrs. Leonard was a secretary for the former Conditioned- Air Corp. for 10 years before retiring in 1996.

Lillian enjoyed painting and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband of 47 years, she is survived by a son; David E. Leonard of Riverside, a daughter; Jessica W. Leonard of Riverside and a cousin; Mary Tilly of North Kingstown. She was the sister of the late Harry W. Payne Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held in St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington at a date to be announced. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
