Winfield, Lucille “Lucy” (Miller), 58, of Pleasant Street, Rumford, died unexpectedly on June 1, 2022 at home. She was the beloved wife of David Winfield.
Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Roland L. and Norma (Sousa) Miller, she lived in Rumford for 20 years previously residing in Riverside.
Mrs. Winfield was a housekeeper for over 25 years.
Lucille enjoyed cooking, camping and attending concerts. She was a a devoted Miami Dolphins football fan.
Besides her husband of thirty five years, she is survived by her brothers and sisters, Richard Sousa of Warwick, May Coughlin of Riverside, Roseann Pacheco of East Providence, Roland Miller of Riverside, Ernest Miller of Johnston, Viola Miller of Providence and Roy Miller of Riverside. She was the aunt of over 100 nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ashley B. Winfield and Joshua A. Davis.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 3-5 p.m. followed by a service at 5 p.m.

I’m so sorry to the Miller and Winfield family, for the loss of Lucy, me and Lucy were childhood friends, and threw out the years as well,. She was a great friend and a great person,. I will miss her,. Fly High with the Angels my friend.
