Marc Laforge

Laforge, Marc, 62, of Appain Way, East Providence, died unexpectedly at home on February 1, 2024. He was the longtime companion of Cynthia Anne Mitchell.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Joseph Roger and Kathryn (Carrigan) Laforge, he lived in East Providence for 15 years.
Mr. Laforge was a long time employee of the TMC Concrete Coating Co. for 15 years.
Marc was a member of the Italian American Citizens Club of Warren and the Portuguese American Club of Warren. He enjoyed helping others and listening to music.
Mr. Laforge was a United States Army National Guard Veteran.
He is survived by five sisters, Elodie DeStefano Thivierge and her husband Roger of Warren, Patricia Zeller and her husband Edward of East Providence, Kathryn Ludwig of Cumberland, Norma Smyka and her husband James of South Carolina and Maureen Stearns of Vermont; a brother, Joseph Roger Laforge and his wife Geraldine of Rehoboth, MA; two step-children, Jeffrey and Christine of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews and devoted dogs, Kimmie and Cashew.
A private Funeral Service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. A private burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.

I am sorry to learn of Marc’s passing. I am his cousin (Philip R. Morency). Marc was a great guy and cousin. I will miss him. My condolences to his companion Cynthia and to his brother Roger and his sisters Elodie, Patty, Kathy, Norma, and Maureen. I will always remember the good times we had as cousins. I also remember Marc’s wonderful parents Uncle Roger and Aunt Kitty. Marc, may God bless and keep you, and bless your family.
