Raposa, Margaret C., 80, formerly of Monroe Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 29, 2017 in Palm Beach, FL. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Raposa.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frances Studley, she lived in Riverside for 65 years and Bristol for 15 years.
Mrs. Raposa was a Resident Instructor at the James L. Maher Center, Middletown for 30 years before retiring in 2014.
Margaret enjoyed gardening, boating, going to the beach, solving crossword puzzles and crocheting. She was a devoted supporter of the American Breast Cancer Society and the SPCA.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa J. Darling of Rehoboth, MA and Paula M. Raposa of RI; two sons, Frank E. Raposa of Palm Coast, FL and Donald LePage of Bristol; a brother, George Shea of East Providence; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late David E. Raposa, Stephen LePage and Margaret Raposa and sister of the late Frank Shea and grandmother of the late Richard W. Correira.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2017 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
