Casanova, Michael A., 64, of Crescent View Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on May 28, 2022.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Frank and Norma (Nofi) Casanova, he lived in Riverside for 23 years previously residing in Barrington.

Mr. Casanova was a Machinist for many years and worked at Striper Marina, Barrington for many years.

Michael was a member of Trout Unlimited. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping in Maine.

He is survived by a daughter, Christina A. Casanova of Riverside; a brother, Thomas A. Casanova and his wife Eva of Barrington and a sister, Lisa Casanova of Newport News, VA; two aunts, Ann M. Cheschi and Carol Cheschi both of Riverside; a fiancé, Samantha J. Tarvis of Riverside and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be private.

  1. My deepest condolences to the Casanova family. Michael and I met many years ago worked together- fished together- golfed together and had a few Bud Lites together. Have many good memories with Mike. Going to miss you my friend. Show them how it’s done Bluto !!

  3. Sorry for your loss. I will never forget seeing Mike (aka Gronk) ride the wheels of his TD 250, and subsequent TZ 250 at AAMRR races. He was one of a kind. Godspeed Mike.

    Myself and the crew at Striper Marina were deeply saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike was a pleasure to have around, in and out of work. We thoroughly enjoyed when he would stop by to say hello the past few years.
