Michael C. Grimshaw, 75, of Terrance Avenue, “Narragansett Terrace” Riverside, died peacefully on April 8, 2025 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda M. (Vieira) Grimshaw.
Born in Providence, a son of the late William and Julia (Golemski) Grimshaw, he lived in Riverside for 40 years.
Mr. Grimshaw was a shipper-receiver at the Leviton Manufacturing Co. for 36 years.
Michael was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. He was the former District Deputy of the Riverside Bishop Hickey Knights of Columbus and he was a member of the 4th Degree St. Pius Assembly.
A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted New England sports fan and he enjoyed gardening.
Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by two daughters, Dawn Sloan of Cranston and Patricia Flannery of Somers, CT; a son, Kenneth Bradley of Pawtucket; a sister, Joanne Capuano and her husband Kenneth of Warwick; four grandchildren and his faithful dog, “Princess.”
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday April 14, 2024 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

For 28 years I lived right next-door to Mike and Linda. They were neighbors in the very true sense of the word. I will miss seeing Mike tinkering in the yard and tending to his dog. May he rest in peace.
