DeCrescenzo, Mildred “Millie,” 85, of Lantern Lane, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on May 6, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Anthony DeCrescenzo Sr.
Born in Centrals Falls, a daughter of the late James and Loretta B. (Landry) Bridge, she lived in Riverside for 58 years.
Mrs. DeCrescenzo was a hairstylist with her husband Anthony in Anthony’s Salon for many years.
Mildred was a communicant and a CYO Advisor of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Besides her husband of 68 years, she is survived by her children, Anthony DeCrescenzo Jr. and his wife Mary Lynn of Riverside, Mark DeCrescenzo of North Providence, Dino DeCrescenzo and his wife Lori of Rehoboth, MA and Dawn Marie Montano and her husband Bob of Eastham, MA; two sisters, Nancy Johnson of Smithfield and Sandra Winters of Pawtucket; eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Robert, Mackenzie, Marc, Alysha, Jonathan, Dean and Emily and four great-grandchildren, Noah, Ryan, Owen, Ilaria. She was the sister of the late James Bridge, Doris Skunza and Arlene Beaueage.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday May 11, 2023 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Mildred’s memory to the Community Autism Resources, 33 James Reynolds Road, Swansea, MA, 02777 would be deeply appreciated.
To the family, Im shocked when I read this. Millie was a great person and at one time used to do my hair. My heart goes out to the entire family. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Anthony and family my deepest condolences and prayers for this painful loss. I knew your mom, as she belong to Our Lady’s prayer group, also from church and schooling with you at Saint Brendans. She was such a pleasant and kind person. She was a great mom, you Tony are a product of that and you’ve past it one to the next generation. I pray the memories will always bring you joy. She left so many. God bless you all.

Bill and I were so shocked to learn of Millie’s passing. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to Tony and the entire family. Millie was such a dear sweet person.

My auntie Millie, you will be so truly missed. I have always loved to see you and your smiling face. You lit up a room and with your arms wide open you always made me feel so loved. Rest In Peace
Aunty, you will be missed so much. Just spoke with you recently. We spoke about our health issues and as always, we ended our converstion laughing because you were always good at turning a frown upside down. Your positive outlook was always infectious and welcome. I will miss my Aunt, my Godmother my Mothers sister more than anything. Love you so much.
