Norma Ann (Dalessio) Pearson, 90, of Willett Avenue, Bowen Court, Riverside, died peacefully at home on March 24, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Barrington, a daughter of the late Angelo and Elisa (Popolizio) Dalessio, she lived in Riverside for 30 years.
Mrs. Pearson was a deeply loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was filled with generosity and care for everyone and gave herself to others freely. What she truly loved was spending time with her grandchildren Heather, Jay, Amy, Ana, Christina, Maddelena, Jonathan and Joshua and great grandchildren Nolan, Elijah, Sienna, Brady, Carter and Sophia.
Norma was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of the Parish’s Young at Heart Club. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Pearson of North Carolina and three sons, David E. Pearson of Riverside, Brian W. Pearson and his wife Kimberly of Westerly and Jeffrey A. Pearson of Attleboro, MA; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frank Dalessio, Philomena DeRensis, Dora Florenzano and Anna Lenon.
We want to thank the team from Continuum Hospice and Palliative Care, with a special thank you to Janet Ventura, CNA and Lee Ann Soltys, RN for the love and support they showed to Norma and her family.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.
Calling hours are Friday 4-7 p.m.
To my Dear Aunt Norma.. more than an Aunt..a sister that I never had.. a confidant and friend, a wonderful preparer of Sundae dinners … a person I will miss dearly until we are together again. I’ll love you always!
