Odette F. Acampora

Acampora, Odette, F., 85, of Crown Avenue, died peacefully on June 30, 2010. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Acampora.
Born in Corbigny, France, a daughter of the late Louis and Marthe (Chabod) Chevalier, she lived in Barrington for four years previously residing in Big Pine Key and Hialeah, FL.
Mrs. Acampora was a social worker for Elderly Home Care Inc., FL for several years before retiring in 1985. She was a devoted to the Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by three daughters; Patricia A. McBride and her husband Francis of Barrington, Suzanne M. Grimes and her husband Alex and Marie Anne Alvarez, both of Palatka, FL, a brother; Marcel Chevalier of Paris, France, four grandchildren; William R. Machon and his wife Melissa, Katherine, Garrett and Tyler Grimes. She was the mother of the late Christine Rose Acampora and sister of the late Maurice and Michele Chevalier.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday July 2, 2010 in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington. Burial will be held on Friday July 9, 2010 at 11 am in the City of Miami Cemetery, Miami, FL. Arrangements are by the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, Riverside.
