Paul L. Sincero

Sincero, Paul, L., 89, of Mendon Road, died peacefully on May 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Annette (Babcock) Sincero.
Born in East Providence, a son of the late Nicholas and Antoinette (Piperni) Sincero, he lived in Cumberland for 12 years previously residing in New Hampshire and East Providence.
Paul was an Army Air Force Veteran serving during World War II where he graduated from the Aviation Cadet Program as a pilot in 1945. He attended Pennsylvania State College, The University of Southern California and Rhode Island State College. He was a graduate of the Federal Aviation Agency as an Air Traffic Controller.
Mr. Sincero was a commander for the Rhode Island Air National Guard. He was a Command Pilot with over six thousand flying hours and served as an Instructor, Flight Examiner, Operations Officer and Squadron Commander. He also served as Deputy Commander for the 143rd Special Operations Group, Rhode Island Air National Guard, where he was a member for 25 years.
Paul was a member of the Air Force Association, The Military Officers Association of America and The Rhode Island National Guard Association.
He is survived by three daughters, Holly R. Adams and her husband James of Barrington, Jean L. Lemieux of Warren and Nancy J. Sincero of San Francisco, CA; three grandchildren, Julie Montalbano, Kelly Adams and Nicholas Rothemich and his wife Reina and two great grandsons, James Adams and Dylan Rothemich. He was the brother of the late Florence Sincero Cellemme.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 21, 2014 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
