Poitras, Pauline B., 86, formerly of Burnside Avenue, Riverside passed away peacefully on Saturday February 19, 2022 at the Vitas Hospice Center in Estero, Florida. She was the beloved wife of Victor H. Poitras.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Yvonne Garneau. Pauline was a loving mother and wife. She spent the best parts of her life raising her family in Riverside, RI.

Pauline loved to sew, sing, golf and serve her community.

She is survived by her faithful husband of 62 years, Victor Poitras, as well as her five children, Lorraine Walach and her husband David with three grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; Paul Poitras and his wife Dr. Lucia DaSilva-Poitras, Danny Poitras, Bernard Poitras and his wife Elizabeth Poitras, and Mark Poitras.

Pauline’s memory will be carried in the hearts of her family and friends.

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday March 4, 2022 from 4-7 p.m.
