Woodhouse, Ray, 86, of New Hampshire Avenue, ‘Roberta Park’ died peacefully on February 3, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Texceira) Woodhouse and the late Gloria Woodhouse.
Born in New Bedford, MA, a son of the late William and Sarah Woodhouse, he lived in Barrington for 57 years.
Mr. Woodhouse was a program-project engineer at the Raytheon Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1992.
Ray was a member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Barrington American Legion Post #8. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during World War II.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; John T. Woodhouse of Mt. Olive, NC, a daughter; Tracy Woodhouse-Boland of Dalton, PA and one granddaughter.
His funeral will be held on Thursday February 9, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 am with a funeral service in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington at 11 am. Burial will follow in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset, MA.
