Winterbottom, Sarah, M., 98, of Lake Avenue, died peacefully on June 1, 2012. She was the wife of the late Warren C. Winterbottom.

Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late George E. and Bertha M. (Roy) Rigley, she lived in Barrington for 59 years.

Mrs. Winterbottom was a communicant of St. Luke Church.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law; Roselyn M. Winterbottom of Barrington, five granddaughters; Lisa M. Winterbottom of Portland, OR Linda A. Winterbottom of San Antonio, TX, Sheila Duckworth of Riverside, Susan Winterbottom-Shadday of Bristol and Sharon L. Gregory of East Providence, nine great grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew. She was the step-mother of the late Warren A. Winterbottom and sister of the late Bertha Jenson, Agnes Sloan, Elmira Aspinall,Loretta, George and John Rigley.

Her funeral is on Tuesday June 5, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Princess Hill Cemetery, County Road, Barrington. Calling hours are Tuesday morning 8-9 am.
